Director.
Teacher.
Advocate.

I'm an award-winning director, educator, and devoted friend to the performing arts, with a passion for collaboration at the heart of everything I do. I take pride in cultivating creative communities and partnering with playwrights, actors, and artists from all walks of life. Planted in New York City, with proud roots from New Orleans, I bring a vibrant touch of theatrical magic to the stage, alongside making an unforgettable gumbo.

Theatre Director

Finding the Humor in darkness, Humanity within chaos, and Hope through tragedy, I am drawn to rich, character-driven stories and driven by a passion for crafting nuanced moments with actors, creating visionary wonders with designers, and nurturing dynamic collaborations with playwrights.

Equally deft at staging new works to classics, I've helmed premieres of plays by John Pollono, Adam Szymkowicz, Kelley Nicole Girod, as well as work by the masters, from Aykbourn to Simon, Shakespeare to Sondheim.

Beat by beat. Putting it together.

Performing Arts Teacher

Combining decades of professional practice with boundless creativity to inspire the next generation of performing artists, I'm driven by a deep belief in the power of individual expression, helping students discover and unleash their full potential.

With a Master of Fine Arts and a Secondary Teaching certification, I've guided a diverse range of students – from high school beginners to college majors and seasoned arts professionals.

Arts Advocate

Rooted in the belief that the arts are for everyone, and that the strongest advocate is the power of community, I've dedicated years to raising awareness of the vibrant NYC Indie Theatre scene and fostering partnerships and consultation with a wide range of organizations.
