I'm a multi-hat wearing, award-winning director, educator, and devoted friend to the performing arts, with a passion for collaboration at the heart of everything I do. I take pride in cultivating creative communities and partnering with playwrights, actors, and artists from all walks of life. Planted in New York City, with proud roots from New Orleans, I bring a vibrant touch of theatrical magic to the stage, alongside making an unforgettable gumbo.

Current Project

I am thrilled to announce the upcoming world premiere of "The Bathroom Attendant," a gripping comic thriller by Tom Kelly.

Theatre Director

Equally at home staging new works to classics, I've helmed premieres of plays by John Pollono, Adam Szymkowicz, Kelley Nicole Girod, to awards and publication, as well as work by the masters, from  Shakespeare to Sondheim.

Career highlights:

  • Ovation and L.A. Drama Critics Circle awards for Best Director for John Pollono’s Small Engine Repair, starring Emmy-winner Jon Bernthal.
  • Associate Artistic Director of SparkPlug Productions, producing provocative new works including premieres of Adam Szymkowicz’s Fat Cat Killers and the Fringe NYC hit Clown Bar 2.

Performing Arts Teacher

Combining decades of professional practice with boundless creativity to inspire the next generation of performing artists, I'm driven by a deep belief in the power of individual expression, helping students discover and unleash their full potential.

With a Master of Fine Arts and a Secondary Teaching certification, I've guided students of all stripes, from high school beginners to college majors and seasoned arts professionals.

Rooted in the belief that the arts are for everyone, and that the strongest advocate is the power of community, I've dedicated years to raising awareness of the vibrant NYC Indie Theatre scene and fostering partnerships and consultation with a wide range of organizations.
